We are so glad you are attending next Thursday's chapter meeting Unmasking What Matters. In an effort to make all guests comfortable, we will implement a "red, yellow, green" badge identification system which displays your comfort level with social distance. Upon check-in, you can select the appropriate color sticky "dot" for your badge so that others know if you are green (okay to hug!), yellow (maybe fist or elbow bump and some distance), or red (requires more distance and no contact please). Below is a more thorough description provided by YPO International who finds this to be a best practice.

I, the undersigned individual, understand and agree that as a condition to my membership in the YPO and YPO Gold Southern California Chapter (the “Chapter”), upon acceptance and approval of my application and/or renewal for membership in the Chapter, hereby waive, discharge, and release all rights which I may now have or which may accrue in the future against the Chapter, YPO, Inc., and their respective networks, regions, chapters, forums, officers, directors, employees, and members (collectively the “YPO Releasees”) from and agree to indemnify and hold the YPO Releasees harmless from and against all liability for any and all actions, damages, causes of action, suits, costs, losses, expenses, claims, demands, damages, and judgments (collectively the “Losses and Claims”), which I, my spouse/partner, family members, children, invitees, heirs, executors, administrators, successors, assignees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Member Releasors”) ever had, now have or hereafter shall or may have, resulting from or arising in connection with: (i) my membership in YPO or the Chapter; (ii) any activities, functions, or events sponsored or sanctioned by the YPO Releasees, including with respect to any travel to, attendance at, or participation in any such activity, function, or event; and (iii) any administrative actions, sanctions, governance or process challenges, orders, communications, directives, or representations made or levied by the YPO Releases. This waiver and release of claims specifically includes, but is not limited to, all present and future Losses and Claims related to my Chapter or YPO membership based on breach of contract, breach of express and/or implied warranty, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with contractual relationships, tortious interference with prospective business relationships, misrepresentation, negligence, negligent misrepresentation, gross negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, intentional infliction of emotional distress, bad faith, fraud, strict liability, strict products liability, and/or any statutory strict liability. |

SPECIFIC WAIVER OF CONSUMER RIGHTS: I specifically and irrevocably waive, on behalf of myself and the other Member Releasors, all rights under any state or local law regarding Deceptive Trade Practices, Consumer Protection, or other similar laws that give consumers special rights and protections. After an opportunity to consult with an attorney of my own selection, I voluntarily consent to this waiver on behalf of myself and the other Member Releasors. |

I acknowledge that certain legal rights against the YPO Releasees may be available to the Member Releasors now or in the future as a result of any Losses and Claims, and that by executing this waiver and release of liability, the Member Releasors are forever relinquishing those rights against the YPO Releasees. I acknowledge that no promises, representations, or affirmations of fact were made to me by the YPO Releasees concerning membership in YPO or the Chapter or the safety or danger associated with participation in any YPO or Chapter sponsored or sanctioned event or activity. I affirm that I have read and understand the foregoing provisions of this waiver and release of liability as a condition of my membership in YPO and the Chapter. |

I understand and agree that as a further condition of my membership in the Chapter, I agree that I and, if applicable, the Member Releasors, will abide by and adhere to the Chapter Bylaws and applicable policies. I further agree that I and, if applicable, the Member Releasors, will abide by and adhere to the YPO Policies and Procedures Manual, including its Code of Conduct, the YPO Trademark Licensing Agreement, and Antitrust Compliance Program. |
