Siot Vineyards & Winery
Originally established in 1856, founder, Adolph Siot was a pioneer in viticulture for San Luis Obispo County. He is credited as one of the first people to plant grapes and make wine right on the original estate here in Templeton California.
Adolph Siot had a very successful business for decades before he sold it to the Rotta family during the “Crisis of 1907”. The Rotta family kept the winery operating for another 100 years. There are still many relics of the old original property and winery here today. Rotta wine is still available too.
Located in the Willow Creek District on the west side of the Paso Robles AVA, Siot is making Bordeaux blends from carefully grown grapes on the west side of Paso.
Winemaker Jeff Branco is a former Top 10 Winemaker in the world according to Wine Spectator Magazine. Jeff made his name at Justin Vineyards & Winery and still holds many wine scoring records today. Jeff has been allowed free reign to make even better wine than ever.
His new vintages are served in the tasting room. Siot has a newly renovated patio and tasting room to be visited. Included in your visit are all the wonderful and colorful artifacts from the property, which is thought to be the cradle of Paso Robles wine.
